It’s been tough to consume social media content lately. 🫠

I’ve been following people and pages from completely different fields than design because I want to keep broadening my perspective. But it’s funny… today E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G sounds the same.

Actually, it’s not just that it sounds the same. It is the same.

I think what frustrates me the most is content itself. That’s where it’s interesting to see how people think, what they believe, and the opinions they have. It feels like that’s just gone.

Those opening lines that are supposed to make you click “see more” don’t spark curiosity anymore. They immediately make me go like, “ugh… another AI-generated post with zero personality.” 😕

And honestly, I wish this were just a LinkedIn problem, but it’s not, it’s everywhere.

I really miss consuming content that feels original, with personality and authenticity.

Just to be clear: Im not criticizing AI at all. I love it, and I use it every single day. What Im seeing, though, is that a lot of people hand everything over to these tools and don’t even take the time to add their own voice or personality anymore. Pleeeease let's add our touch, our voice and our love to that. We all miss it.
